Anclote Adventures welcomes you to the gorgeous and productive waters west of Florida. Captain Brian Riley will meet you in Tarpon Springs and take you to some of the best spots in the area, including inshore, nearshore, as well as offshore grounds. He's an experienced angler who'll know how to provide a comfortable and fun-packed trip for you and your loved ones. Just pick your day and join him for a memorable day of fishing on Florida's lovely waters!
Your adventure will start on a 23' Shoalwater flats boat powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine and features all the modern GPS, radar, fishfinder, as well as radio navigation electronics that will quickly and safely take you to your fishing spots. The boat has also got snorkeling equipment, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell.
Captain Brian uses light and heavy tackle to target a number of prized species that dwell in this part of Florida. He'll make sure you have the best chance of catching snook, redfish, trout, grouper, cobia, tarpon, seabass, tripletail, and other fine species.
You're welcome to bring kids on your trip and enjoy a beautiful day on the water with your whole family. Also, if you decide to keep the fish you catch, Captain Brian will clean and fillet it for you free of charge.
Your trip includes all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, as well as fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks. With that said, the only things you should do before leaving is to arrive on time and prepare for loads of fun.

Capt Brian was simply stellar in his knowledge of the area and his safety practices on open sea! I was delighted with the tour and new expectations to come back for more to learn and eco with our new friend and Capt. Brian. Thanks for getting my kids and me a great run for the money and excellent experience of the Great Anclote fishing and beach areas. You were amazing and we shall definitely be back shortly. 2 Hour Inshore Fishing – Trip on August 7, 2023 • 4 adults • 2 childrenWe took my kids out for a 2 hour inshore fishing experience and we have a BLAST! The boat was plenty big for us all to sit and fish comfortably without being in each others way. Captain Brian was very accommodating he did clock watch and made sure we caught fish and had a great time. He was very patient with the kids teaching them how to bait their own hooks and handling the fish. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend taking a trip for yourself!

Brian was great, took us to a few spots and helped out non stop with tending to everyone's lines and making sure everyone had fun. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun day fishing.

8 Hour Trip – Inshore Fishing on July 5, 2022 • 2 adultsCaptain Brian was awesome! I originally booked his offshore grouper trip, Captain Brian immediately reached out to me letting me know that he was doing some trips days prior to check if fish were still biting. He contacted again days before the trip and spoke to us about the options we had as he was willing to try a grouper trip however he hadn’t seen many the prior days and suggested we do an inshore trip. BEST choice of our whole vacation! He had us on fish almost instantly and really took good care of us! We caught tons of big red fish, some small snook, a flounder, and some small mangrove snapper! Just look at the pictures! He tried his hardest to keep our rods as bent as they are in the pictures as often as he could for us! This was by far one of the best trips I have ever been on! Highly recommend any of Captain Brian’s trips he will make sure you have a great adventure! Can’t wait for our next trip! I plan on bringing my work buddies back to the area around August and go out again with Captain Brian.

Released the rest. Capt. Brian is a pro, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Boat and equipment are first class. I’ll definitely be booking another trip with him soon when Grouper season opens. “Fish On!”

Good bonding with me and my 19 year old soon who doesn't fish much (he caught most of our fish). Big shout out for Captain Brian, he didn't give up despite tough conditions and it paid off in the end. We limited out!!!. We highly recommend Anclote Adventures!!

Worked hard on this particular day but very apparent the captain wanted us to catch fish. Tried for many different options. And, in the end, changed strategies and fish we were targeting to provide us with real thrills and satisfaction. Personable, committed to giving customers a great experience, willing even to bend the time to do so. I would heartily recommend Aneclote Adventure and would definite book with him again! P.S. His boat is a fun one to fish from.

Captain Brian has been fishing the Tarpon Springs area for more than two decades. As a carpenter, he didn't have a traditional work schedule, so he would find himself on the water three to five times a week, many times staying out from before sunrise to nearly sunset. After getting older, he decided to get his captain's license so that he can share his love of fishing and the water with others.
