Over the years I have visited Montenegro many times, but never fished on an open sea.
All of us knew big game fishing is a game of chance, but Zoran went far beyond his duties and tried to make our trip memorable! We saw huge school of fish around our boat during most of the evening, caught many deep dwellers and even saw what looked like tuna on sonar while Zoran was trying every trick in the book to attract them on our bates (4 or 5 big fish rods at that moment).

Equipment was of the highest quality and we brough enough back home to engorge ourselves on great fish for couple days!

Zoran took care of everything and persisted until a tuna was finally caught. My boys on the trip were not used to the extended waiting and would have liked to participate more.

Dreams come true! Captain Zoran is a true professional fisherman! His priority is hunting fish together with his customers. His fishing knowledge is outstanding! Together we now have the record for bluefin caught with a rod in Montenegro! The tuna was caught on livebait and after 2,5 hours fight our dream came true! 220 cm (forkmessaured) big bluefin tuna was after a marathonfight in the boat! Its weight is 170-190 kg!!!

Es war ein sehr toller Tag offshore gewesen.
Die Crew und der Kapitän geben sich sehr viel Mühe und gehe auf die Wünsche ein. Man merkte das man es mit erfahrenen Leuten zu tun hat. Wir haben sogar über die vereinbarte Zeit hinaus geangelt. Ich würde wieder buchen. Talles Top!

This was a complete scam. I basically had to pay for the captain’s leisure and fishing trip.

The captain canceled our initial trip due to “big waves” forecasted. This was an absolute lie as the sea was flat as can be and ocean full of tuna boats on that day so I guess he was overbooked or had some other commitments.

Even though the ad says you can keep you catch, they give you the small trash fish and take the premium fish for themselves. I was told I could buy the fish I wanted even though I caught it.

The captain was on his phone in the cabin all of the trip rewatching videos of reels screaming. He did not speak a word of English.

The deckhand was a 14 year old school kid that had some but limited skills and he was the only value on the crew.

I would strongly advised anyone to rather search and enquire from other sources for locally trusted charters as it seems the only ones on Fishingbooker are those that can’t build a good reputation themselves due to lack of skills or being scam artists and need to opt for another method of attracting victims.
