I took my 6 year old son out fishing with Garrett and was very impressed. Garrett was on-time, prepared, and an incredibly knowledgeable and gracious host on his vessel. He was great interacting with and helping my son. He knew where the fish would be biting, and we could t reel them into the boat fast enough. He helped with bait, pictures, and even made calls to other captains to get information he didn’t readily know. He’s a local guy that knows the waters and fishing. We will definitely be setting sail with Garrett the next time we are in town, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome, worry-free day of fishing!

Our day started off a little colder than we would have liked, but Captain Garrett took us out anyways for a great morning of fishing. My 2 sons (age 10 and 8) had an amazing time catching 6 different species of fish. It was cold and rainy, so we set up under the bridges, but caught lots of fish and I saw lots of smiles. Would definitely recommend Captain Garrett for anyone, especially those with kids. He let my guys prepare bait and even helped them set some hooks. Great day, hopefully next time it’s a bit warmer.

Such an awesome experience. A cold front threatened our ability to fish. Captain Garrett was transparent about this well in advance and coordinated with us to provide the best experience possible. He used his depth of knowledge of the area to find us a different spot a different strategy and huge success despite the difficulty that Mother Nature threw our way. The experience was insane. We didn’t fish for snook or redfish or any huge game fish but we went 9 miles out and caught a huge haul of grunt red grouper and trigger fish. Literally every minute or two our whole group of four was hooked up. Captain Garrett cleaned all the fish for use after the trip super fast. He was a super kind friendly and respectful guy. Truly felt like he’d do anything to make this experience positive.  I will absolutely book here again. Such an amazing experience. There’s nothing like it. Do yourself a favor and book with him.

Garrett did an amazing job with us the day we went out.  He was totally accommodating to what we wanted to do.  He and I talked the day before about the type of fishing we wanted to do and what we were looking to catch and he set up exactly what we asked for.  Our hooks were never without bait and he was constantly on the search for good spots to find fish.  Garrett is an excellent communicator and teacher as well!!  I would 100% book another trip with him and look forward to many future conversations with a new fishing partner!

My nine year old daughter and I had the pleasure to fish with captain Garrett today.  What an experience,  this guy is the real deal.  She caught her first second and third snook ever and was so exited,  Than Garrett located a huge school of redfish,  200 plus fish.  The site of all those fish alone is something I had never seen before in the bay, and I’ll get to have some of if for dinner tonight as a bonus.  We will definitely be coming back,  and strongly recommend captain Garrett to anyone interested in some real fishing.
