Clear Water Adventures Guide Service welcome you to Corpus Christi Texas. Captain Shayne Moore is a licensed guide ready to take you and your friends on a great day of fishing. He’ll meet you at Marker 37 Marina 13317 S Padre Island Dr Corpus Christi TX 78418. Captain Shayne will know exactly where to look for fish and will make sure you have a great experience on the water!
With great experience and a laid-back attitude, he’ll put you on the fish you are looking for – Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder. Using Live or Dead Shrimp/Croaker/Menhaden/Mullet all on light tackle.
The captain’s Majek Illusion is 25.5 ft’ long, meaning you and your companions will not be cramped. Even better, he runs this boat skinny, in places most won't want to go. Powered by Yamaha 250 Sho Outboard, uses Garmin electronics, Garmin wireless trolling motor, Minn Kota Raptor shallow water anchors and has got a 2 livewell. Up to 5 anglers can join a trip.
The boat is family-friendly so you can have a wonderful day of fishing with your whole family.
If you have questions, feel free to call the captain, he's happy to chat! He’ll provide all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and water, so make sure to bring your licenses, some snacks, and any drinks you like before starting the trip. Kids 12 and under fish for free!

Great day of Fishing with Captain Shayne
Morning fishing trip!!! 6hr on August 30, 2025 • 5 adults
We had a great day out on the water! Captain Shayne messaged the day before our trip and asked if we could meet earlier than our scheduled time in order to get out on the water sooner (as it was a holiday weekend and was going to be very busy)… I really appreciated this! it allowed us to avoid a lot of early morning “traffic” getting on the water! we caught our limit on trout and black drum and even caught 1 random flounder!! Captain Shayne was active in moving us around to different locations if the fish were not biting where we were at!

We had a great time with Captain Shayne and we will book with him again. All parts of our trip were excellent. Easy to meet up and clear communication. Boat and all of his equipment were top notch. Caught our limit. 2 things really stood out though - the best parts. First, he’s from this area. He knows where to fish and his knowledge of the area was incredible. Also I took my kids for a Father’s Day trip and Captain Shayne was a great teacher for them and me. Highly, highly recommend you book with him!

We had an excellent trip with Shayne. Only one of the four of us is a fisherman and Shayne was very helpful and patient as he taught us how to use the equipment and how to catch fish. He put us on some huge trout and a bunch of black drum. We had so much fish that we fed a party of 20 and still had a ziplock full of drum to freeze and take home. I would definitely recommend Shayne for a great experience.

Booked a day that turned out to be less than ideal fishing weather but having a Captain/Guide like Shayne made it a great trip. My buddy and I caught our share of trout (had to throw a few oversized ones back) and a few drum even with times where the wind died completely and others where it was raining buckets. Will book again earlier in the season

Shayne is a great Captain. Our party of four is completely new to ocean fishing. We had a blast. We were catching Sheephead steadily. Never a dull moment. We also picked up a couple Blackdrums, Flounder, PigFish and we even snagged a Stingray which we promptly released.
Captain Shayne is an all around great guy. We lost quite a few hooks and weights, but he just smiled and kept us fishing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and happy to share his fishing experience with us.
