Line Dancer Sport Fishing is your key to the finest Salmon and Trout fishing on Lake Michigan. It operates out of Benton Harbor, Michigan and is located at Pier 1000 Marina, the finest marina on the St. Joseph River. Cruising out on the river to Lake Michigan, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the nation’s finest big game, freshwater sport fishing!
You will be fishing with two experienced captains. Captain Don Adams has been fishing for almost 40 years. He started chartering a few years ago to start sharing his love of fishing with others. Captain Bob Clark has been fishing professionally on Lake Michigan since 1986. If you want two seasoned captains with a firm grip on fishing, they are the ones.
The trip starts on a 30’ Baha offshore sport fisherman that can take up to 6 people – perfect for groups of friends or families with children – with great seating room for everyone to be comfortable. The boat is equipped with top-of-the-line navigation gear, a toilet, kitchen, and bed. It is not only stable and cozy but also boasts the most up-to-date fishing gear, which is what most anglers want. To make sure you reach your fishing spot fast, the boat uses twin 285 HP Ford 351 Windsor engines.
Your catch can vary in numbers depending on the season but the species you’re most likely to hook are Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, and Steelhead Trout. You and the crew will use the best way to attract them – trolling. Feel free to keep all the fish you catch so you can enjoy delicious meals when you get back home. All the kids are welcome to join in, so bring them along and have a wonderful family outing together.
The rods, reels, and tackle will be provided onboard and Captains Don and Bob will also clean your catch. All you should bring are your fishing licenses and some food and drinks for the day. Also, don’t forget your cooler to take your catch home.

June fishing trip
We had 3 boys (7-9) and the staff helped them fish in the open water for the first time ever. It was a safe environment where the boys got to reel in some fish. The fish were not biting well that day, but we still caught enough fish to make the experience a positive one. The size and quality of the boat were extremely nice. It had a spacious area down below that was comfortable to sit and take a nap in. I would recommend this boat and crew for children 7-9 that are inexperienced. It was a good overall experience that we hope to do again.

Captain Don and Bob are very experienced fishermen
Our experience on the Line Dancer was great we caught a lot of fish captain Bob and Don was very friendly and knowledgeable on were to find the fish and how to catch them we had a group of 6 people everyone over 200 lbs and we had enough room to move around comfortably we had a lot of fun with Don and Bob I definitely recommend booking the line dancers if you won’t to find and catch the fish our experience was so great we will only be fishing with the line dancers when we come back to fish Lake Michigan.
