Red Snarpon Charters Inc. is located in Goodland and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Jonathan is a Marco Island local who grew up fishing the waters around the area for the last 25 years. Having recently transitioned from the restaurant industry to a full-time guide, he’s eager to share his huge passion for fishing with you and help you have a fun trip. The captain also loves introducing anglers of all ages to fishing, especially kids.
Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ Pathfinder 2200 V boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

3/4 Day Trip
Great day on the water
Booked a 3/4 trip with Captain Jonathan for my girlfriend and I and my only problem is that I wished I booked for a longer trip because we had so much fun, We didn’t have any particular fish we wanted to catch but we did suggest that we would love to catch a shark if possible just for a photo and to brag but we were just wanting to get out on the water and see what was happening! And Captain Jonathan delivered! We started the day and both my girlfriend and I caught multiple Goliath Groupers and filled our daily limit for Mangrove Snapper! We then moved closer inland and we caught two lemon sharks which made our day! Jonathan was very knowledgeable and patient and just let us cast out wherever and made sure our hooks were always baited and was fun to talk to! I highly recommend Red Tarpon Charters due to its really good prices. Next time we come to Marco Island we will definitely book with Red Tarpon Charters again! Thanks Captain Jonathan!

From the moment we set out, Jonathan's expertise and passion for fishing were evident. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the mangroves, various fishing techniques, and the species we were targeting, which made the experience both educational and enjoyable. The highlight of our trip was when my son hooked a remarkable 5-foot hammerhead and a 6-foot lemon shark! Great memories were made
What a GREAT time out with Captain Jonathan and Red-Snarpon Charters. The kids wanted to go for sharks, and we got them! A little lemon (mine), and then 4 bull sharks that just got bigger with each one we (the kids) caught! We also caught mangrove snapper, catfish, ladyfish, jack, and snook! 4 hours was perfect. We'll definitely do this again with Captain Jonathan when we come back next year!
