Bait House Charters is a fishing charter based in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Join Captain Brad and travel up to 100 miles out to explore one of the best bottom fishing locations around. He will make sure to provide you with a tailored experience, regardless of whether you are a veteran angler or just getting your feet wet. If you prefer fly fishing, Captain Brad will be able to accommodate your needs.
How far you go out will vary depending on what you want to catch and how long you want to stay. Some of the fish species you can expect to encounter are Groupers, Snappers, Amberjack, Kingfish, as well as other pelagic species. Captain Brad also specializes in catching Hogfish, one of the most delicious fish out there. There is also a shark fishing package for any who would like to try their hand at hunting for Hammerheads, Bull Sharks, and others.
His boat is a 33’ Dusky center console boat. It is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and can develop a speed of up to 38 knots. The boat is equipped with all the necessary USCG equipment and navigational equipment such as GPS and a fishfinder device. It also has two large coolers to store caught fish as well as any drinks you might decide to bring. This is a very versatile boat that can handle any sort of offshore trip, as well as get you to the action quickly.
Captain Brad will provide you with all the necessary gear and bait, and the first mate will clean and fillet any catch caught once you’re back onshore. Gratuity for the first mate of around 15-20% is expected and appreciated. Make sure to bring polarised sunglasses as well as any drinks or snacks if you like.

3/4 Day Trip
Captain Brad & Andrew Exceeded our Expectations
We booked our trip one week in advance with not knowing what to expect. I had mentioned to Brad we would like to catch some fish we can eat and some good fighting fish, and he nailed it. Our trip went extremely smooth and First Mate Andrew was a pleasure to chat with. Both Brad and Andrew were very respectful and personable; even calling us by name each time. It shows how much they care when they take time to remember your name even when they are dealing with over 50 customers a week. We managed to catch a lot of drum, hog fish, and a variety of different grouper. Would highly recommend Baithouse Charters!

Amazing unforgettable experience
Brad and Andrew taught us everything we needed to know. They were patient and kind with my father who was in poor health. We caught a lot of fish. Every location Brad took us to, we caught fish immediately. We did and 8 hour trip and each of the 5 of us caught more fish than we could count. I recommend everyone to book a trip with Brad

Baithouse Charters was on the Money
Captain Brad and his mate Ben got us out and on the action fast in there 33’ Dusky. It was my first time fishing in Florida and it was an awesome experience being able to catch so many different species of fish. Captain Brad is a very knowledgeable angler and kept us on the fish. Awesome fishing trip!!
Our family of 6 went on a morning 4 hour trip and Captain Brad put us on the fish. We caught a lot of grunt, some hogfish, Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, and I caught a huge flounder!! Captain Brad and Ben are the best! Would definitely go with them again and highly recommend!

Amazing senior trip
Captain Brad was awesome. The guys could not stop talking about how amazing this fishing trip was. How the captain moved when needed to catch more fish and made the trip one to remember. They caught so many their arms hurt from reeling. We will definitely be using them again!! The crew was polite and fun and to he around. A lot of experience and it showed.
