Richards’ Fishing Charters is located in North Charleston and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Grouper, Seabass, Snapper, Amberjack, Redfish, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, and jigging.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 23’ Key West boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Enjoyed the energy
Good vibes. Did his best to put us on good fishing spots but Mother Nature just had other plans. However it wasn’t a total disaster. My son caught a couple shark & a blue crab. I had a decent bite but it broke the line but put up one heck of a fight. Even got to see dolphins up close as we came back into the dock. All in all my son & I look forward to a return booking next one for an all day thing.

Even with subpar weather conditions Capt Johnathan made sure he put us on fish. Caught redfish, trout, & lady fish inshore - very knowledgeable on baits & where to hook up. Would recommend!

Captain Jonathan is the best!
Captain Jonathan got to know us and engaged with us. Some on the trip knew a little bit about what they were doing, but others didn't. He was encouraging and helpful without being condescending or irritated. He genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time--and to learn something!

Awesome time!
The whole family had a great time with Captain Johnny, we were all beginners with saltwater and he helped everyone out. Super patient, friendly, and kid friendly too! I highly recommend Captain Johnny to families no matter the age if yall want to catch some nice fish!
