Our family has a wonderful experience fishing with the Samaki crew. Our scheduled date had to be moved due to unexpected bad weather and they found time within our trip to ensure our youngest son got to catch his fish.  The crew understood that this trip was for our youngest son to fulfill his dream of catching a fish and they made it happen! They allowed all 4 of us to sit in the fishing chair and reel in multiple barracuda. The boat has a small cabin for those that don’t want to be in the middle of the action or a bench with amazing views in the top deck right in front of where the captain sits. One thing to consider is taking some motion sickness medication as the water can be a little rough out there. If you’ve never been on a boat out in the ocean like that, just take the precaution!

Overall, we had a great time, and would do this again.

Mid July i was expecting to catch but nothing like we did. We caught so many fish including a sail fish and Goliath grouper! Super rare and both caught on one trip! I definitely recommend an 8 hour trip! Pollito, Oliver, and Luis are amazing guys! They know where the fish are and how to catch. Their knowledge of the waters is unmatched. I couldn’t have asked for better experience! They catered to us the entire trip! Food drinks fish everything we wanted. Worth every penny plus more. I would not ever go on another charter if we came back to Cancun! Samaki 1 and samaki 2 are the best.

We fished twice with this crew while on our vacation. They worked their butts off and put us on a bunch of fish. The second day was pretty terrible weather with bigs waves and a very rocky boat in those waves. That didn’t stop the crew from putting us on fish! I would fish with them anytime!

Awesome evening fishing. Caught big fish like we wanted. Crew is top notch.  This was the second time out with the same charter and crew and it was excellent.  The crew is very knowledgeable and great at getting fish hooked.  Boat is very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely spend the few dollars more for this crew and boat than booking the smaller ones especially if you’re prone to sea sickness.  Will book again when we come back to Cancun.

We had a wonderful time, the crew was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.  The boat was excellent.  We have been fishing on smaller boats and decided to go bigger and I’m so glad we did.  Last year I got sick offshore fishing and i did not this time.  I’m sure most of the reason is being on a bigger boat that can handle the waves better.  It’s well worth the money if you sometimes struggle with sea sickness.  Yes we caught fish!
