You'll rip the river in a 23'Fishrite jet boat powered by a 400 HP Chevrolet 6.0 LS inboard engine! This custom-made aluminum V-hull boat can fit up to 6 guests and will provide a quick and safe ride to the fishing grounds. The boat is rigged with GPS and fishfinder electronics, livescope/panoptix, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell.
Riverjet Outfitters specializes in fishing Carp, Smallmouth, Channel and Flathead catfish, Saugeye, and Musky. Captain Michael offers you morning and evening casting trips for Smallmouth, Saugeye, Musky, and more. His daytime Carp extravaganza trip includes catching tons of arm-breaking Carp on light tackle. Catfishing is also possible both during the day and night. Finally, there is the one and only 'Great Miami River Experience' – 16 hours of multi-species fun!
Your captain provides all the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, and water on ice. You should bring some food to stay energized during the trip and don't forget your fishing licenses.

Michael was a wonderful captain. He knew the river and had more than enough experience with fishing. He was patient and a great teacher towards the younger members of our party. Unfortunately, the smallmouth bass did not want to cooperate, and even with live bait, didn't land anything other than a 4 inch smallmouth bass. Would likely wait towards the end of June, beginning of August for smallmouth on the river. Sometimes this happens, but would 100 percent recommend Michael for future fishing trips.
We had an amazing time on our charter with Captain Michael. It started off slow because of the chilly morning weather, but he didn’t let that get in the way of making it a great day. We were originally booked for an 8-hour trip from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, but since the fish didn’t start biting right away, he stayed out with us for an extra two hours—at no extra charge! Michael was super friendly, cracking jokes, and by midday it honestly felt like I was hanging out with one of my longtime friends. As the weather warmed up, the day turned beautiful, and we ended up hooking three different species of fish—catfish, smallmouth bass, and flathead. Not only does Michael really know the waters and bring tons of fishing experience, but he’s also a down-to-earth, fun guy to spend the day with. My boys and I had an absolute blast, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing experience on all levels.
Michael was a great guide and a great host. He shared his knowledge and expertise which created a unique learning experience. One of the best parts of this experience was that he focused on the type of fish my group wanted to catch. We chose multi species and had a great time catching smallmouth, monster carp, and channel catfish. He knows his stuff and is a great option for a fishing guide. I would highly recommend booking a trip with him.
Our group consisted of me (38yo female, mom), my son (13) and his friend (12). Michael was more than prepared and was really fun to be around. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. He had all bait, rods, reels, and lures galore ready to go. What I appreciated most was the time he spent helping the boys and me improve our cast and catch techniques. I now feel much more confident. We can’t wait for next experience- with Michael!! Thank you so much!!
