Captain Ben’s Charters invites you to spend a day on the "Reel Adventure" fishing in the waters of the Mississippi Gulf and experience the beauty of a bountiful and scenic fishery. Captain Ben will meet you at Gulfport Municipal Marina, pier 6 slip 11, and take you to nearshore or offshore fishing grounds full of all kinds of species you can catch. The captain’s main priority is to provide his guests with a safe, fun, and productive trip. Pick your day, come aboard, and create awesome fishing memories!
Your "Reel Adventure" will take place on a restored 36’ Topaz Sport fisherman Vessel that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. Powered by twin 330 HP Cummings engines and rigged with up-to-date fishing finding and navigation technology. "Reel Adventure" features 33’ outriggers to enhance the trolling fishing experience.
The boat has a stand-up headroom/private toilet as well as V-berths and large dinette. Captain Ben will accommodate guests with disabilities (Please call ahead for planning).
Depending on the season and weather conditions our target species include Sheepshead, Bull Red-fish, Speckled Trout, King and Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, awesome Sharks, aggressive Cobia, and Black Drum. Captain Ben provides both light and heavy tackle and the methods for bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, as well as drift fishing. You’re free to keep your catch. The first mate will be on hand to help you with all stages of the trip. Tipping the first mate for their hard work is greatly appreciated.
Captain Ben invites your fishing group as well as your children for a beautiful day on the water. He’ll provide all the fishing gear; bait; fishing licenses; and offers free cleaning and filleting of the day’s catch. Just bring your favorite snacks and drinks, and an ice chest on board if you desire, and you’ll be set for a "Reel Adventure" you won’t forget!
