South Florida Fishing Guides is a veteran-owned and operated business located in Lake Worth. Captain Garrett has been fishing for over 30 years and would love to share his passion with you. He will work hard to ensure you have a day filled with laughs and hooksets, memories that will last a lifetime, and hopefully a new friendship.
The freshwater lakes and canals of Southeast Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, provide over 50 miles of fishable area that are all interconnected. Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, Clown Knife Fish, Snakehead, and several other species call this system home. On these 2 to 8-hour trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, fly fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 21’ Tracker Grizzly that can safely take up to 4 anglers. The boat comes with a wireless trolling motor.
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. South Florida Fishing Guides offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water. The boat will be supplied with bottled water and you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Captain Garrett is thankful for allowing him the opportunity to provide you with a world-class fishing trip. Once he gets you on the boat, he is sure he will see you for years to come.

Fabulous day on the water!
Me and my husband came down for a weekend of fishing. We had a great time with Garrett! He's got tremdous knowledge of the water and the area. We caught lots of different types of fish which is what we were looking for! I would recommend him for experienced or first timers!

Hard working skipper with great personality
Garrett was awesome. Was over from Australia and hadn’t done freshwater fishing in Florida before. My preference was lures which Garrett thought might be challenging in the prevailing conditions but nonetheless he put me on to fish including first Peacock Bass. Worked his ass off, very knowledgeable and patient but tells crap jokes :) Would highly recommend this experience to others. Cheers Michael

Caught everything we targeted and more. Garrett knows the spots and more dad jokes than is probably healthy for one person, but result was never a dull moment. Would book this trip again and again.

Had a memorable experience
Took my 17 yr old granddaughter looking to catch some peacock bass. Garret was on time and ready to go, we caught just about everything you can, peacock, largemouth, Mayan, clown fish, snake hea. I have to say the granddaughter caught more but I did land the largest peacock bass. Overall, it was really fun and she enjoyed it.

Took the afternoon to go fishing with Captain Nalls. I will admit-- all the 5 star reviews were a little too good to be true--Captain Nalls lived up to them all. Great captain, fisherman, teacher, and guy. Had a slow start, but Captain Nalls had us on the fish in no time! Would highly recommend. We will be back.
