Josh is ready for the 2023 season with a freshly restored catamaran, equipped with the latest electronics and outfitted with over $6,000 worth of brand-new top-of-the-line Shimano Tiagra reels to help you reel in the fish of a lifetime!
Capt. Josh will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, with 4 to 24-hour trips on the offer. Target Snapper and Grouper on the bottom and troll for scrappy King Mackerel and other pelagic species such as Sailfish, Tuna, and Marlin off of South Padre Island. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 30’ catamaran boasting 500hp. that can safely take up to 4 anglers out to the fishing grounds at speeds of 50+mph. The catamaran’s fast cruising speed and excellent sea-keeping abilities give Josh’s guests more time fishing and the ability to travel further to better fishing spots. Not only is Captain Josh’s new catamaran fast and safe but it’s also well appointed with a full head, shower, outriggers, digital GPS anchor, autopilot, and the latest fishfinding technology giving you the best advantage to get the fish of a lifetime!
Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
