Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Homer runs a 25’ Kenner center console that holds up to 8 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

From the moment I was old enough I started fishing on Farm ponds in North Texas. Joined the military when I was 18 and enjoyed fishing in Germany and Washington State. I then moved back to Texas and started guiding part-time on Lake Tawakoni in 2010 and got a great reputation so I quit my "real job" and started guiding full-time in 2012 and have been doing that ever since! I have been guiding Lake Tawakoni for Catfish only for over 13 years and I know this lake like the back of my hand!
