The Azores is worldwide renowned for its amazing fishing opportunities. Test your angling skills and try your hand at trolling for Mako Shark, Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, White and Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and other species that are in season and biting. There are various packages that can suit any schedule!
All of that magic happens aboard the Sensei, a 42' Rodman 1250 Fisher Pro sport fishing boat. This is a seaworthy vessel that comes powered by twin 500 HP Volvo Penta engines and enough room for up to 12 passengers or 10 anglers.
The Sensei is outrigged with top-notch electronics and professional accessories to make a great catch possible. She features a restroom, a kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, and a stereo to make sure you have a relaxing trip from start to finish.

Full Day Trip – Big Game Fishing on September 15, 2022 • 5 adultsA nice day on sea with great people… unfortunately without catch luck. It almost turned into a spectacular day, when a marlin snatched the bait…but he managed to get off the hook before the fight cud start #!?$#!!! what a missed experience 😖😖. So is fishing life…🤷🏾, we‘ll take them the next time🤙🏾. Anyway thanks Diogo, for the great trip on sea!

Half Day Trip – Bottom Fishing (AM) on June 21, 2024 • 6 adultsEvery where we travel we go fishing. We have a 23 foot boat at home and fish all the time for salmon, halibut, rock fish and stripers in the San Francisco Bay and in the ocean. I booked the Sensei with Captain Piava. I have teenage children and they need a lot of action when it comes to fishing. I asked for rock fishing and boy did Captain Piavo deliver. The boat is huge, luxurious and well maintained. Seven of us sat on the fly bridge and were served drinks and snacks while we watched dolphins and toured around a nature reserve island. Then we bottom fishing and the action was fast and furious. We keep a few for the barbecue. Captain Piavo is an educated gentleman and fun and interesting to converse with. His first mate was great. I highly recommend them. They are family friendly and flexible. We will be back when the kids are older for big game the next time! Thank you Captain Piava !

We were able to get up close with pods of dolphins that were swimming alongside the boat and everyone in the family caught a fish. The crew were great and even gave us a bit of time to swim off the boat. Lots of smiles all around :)

Half Day – Coastal Trolling (AM) on June 19, 2022 • 6 adultsWe had a great time on sensei with the lads. The weather was a bit windy but Diogo communicated that with us well beforehand. We were lucky enough to catch some barracuda for dinner, the boat was beautiful and Diogo showed us some dolphins and local islands. Would highly recommend. Obrigado!

Very expensive boat ride 3 miles from dock. Should not advertise as high season if there are no fish. Weather was great as was boat, but results lacking

Skippers Diogo Paiva and Eduardo Lopes co-founded Azores Fishing in 2015 after having spent the previous several years fishing together in the area. Both Eduardo and Diogo have been trained in life support and hold professional fishing qualifications, and Eduardo has a degree in Physical Education and Sport. The pair has been fishing from a very early age, and its main goal is for every client who comes aboard their boat to have a great time in a safe environment.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
