Reel screamer charters, located in Tavernier Florida, is the ultimate fishing experience for everyone to enjoy. Capt. Eddy aims to show everybody on board what the upper keys waters has to offer and gives everyone a fun and memorable experience.
This involves 4,6, or 8 hour trips mainly fishing for Dolphin, Snapper, Grouper, Sailfish, King Mackerel, and Wahoo, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, reef fishing, trolling, and kite fishing!
Have any kids that want to go fish? We got you covered. Capt eddy enjoys seeing kids fishing and catching something with a smile on their face like he did when was a kid. Please let Capt Eddy know of the ages as he provides kid size lifejackets for their safety.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 27' Contender powered by twin 200 Suzuki outboards. Has a plenty of comfortable seating, a t-top for shade, big fish box for all your catches, and coolers with cushions for extra food and drinks that double as comfortable seats, JL audio sound system, GPS, VHF radio, and a nice live-well for live bait.
Aboard the vessel, it comes with all tackle, rods, and bait needed for your trip. As well as all necessary safety gear to keep every person safe on the water. The vessel has all permits and licenses for up to four anglers to enjoy a great day out on the water. Water is provided but feel free to bring any other snack or drinks you may need. Also want to bring any hats, glasses or sunscreen.

Half Day trip with Capt. Eddy
4 Hour Trip Reef PM on August 8, 2025
Amazing fishing trip! We had a blast, caught a bunch of different fish, even a monster Bonito who put up the best fight, saw a bull shark, hooked and lost a jack, all in time to make it back by dinner time to eat our delicious catch!!! Capt. Eddy kept us rigged and casting the whole time. Super chill Captain, spacious boat, knows the spots, great with our kiddo, and everything went smoothly! Will definitely hit him up again next time we’re in town! Thank you Eddy for a great day and the memories made!

Amazing Fishing Experience
6 Hour Trip – Offshore/Reef on June 6, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children
We booked our fishing trip with Captain Eddy and Reel Screaming Charters. Our excellent experience started days before we even caught our first fish. Captain Eddy reached out to us and asked what types of fish we wanted to target. This trip we were looking to catch Mahi because we had never done that type of fishing before. Captain Eddy advised us that Mahi were in full swing and he would be able to make that happen. He also asked if there where any other special considerations or accommodation he could help us with. For this trip we definitely needed special accommodations for my son who was recovering from a broken leg. Captain Eddy assured us that he would do whatever was needed to ensure my son was able to go and have a great time. Once we arrived at the dock the day of our scheduled trip, Captain Eddy had everything ready to go waiting on us to arrive. He assisted my son onto the boat, constantly checked on how he was doing, and made sure he could do whatever possible to ensure we had an enjoyable time. Captain Eddys knowledge of the water was on point. He put us on fish the entire trip, kept our lines baited, the only time he had a break was when we were trolling to our next spot. Once we arrived back at the dock after our day of fishing, Captain Eddy assisted my son off the boat, gathered all the fish we caught and cleaned and bagged them for us. We put our freshly cut fish into a cooler we brought and Captain Eddy iced them down for us. From start to finish this was one of the best fishing experiences I have ever had. Thank you Captain Eddy for everything and all the great memories.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Captain Eddie for the amazing day of fishing we had!! Our captain was punctual, polite, courteous, and tried his hardest all day long to put us on fish. That particular day the fishing was a little bit slow, yet we were highly successful because Captain Eddie was constantly changing spots and tactics to put us on fish. This was the best charter captain I have fished with.

This was my second trip going out fishing with captain Eddie and he put us on fish as expected. We caught lots of mahi and yellow tail. Captain Eddie knew right where to go and how to put you on fish. His boat ran perfectly and his gear is on top. I highly recommended going fishing with captain Eddie. You will not be disappointed. Whenever I go to the keys that will be the only charter captain I will fish with!

Best Fishing trip with Captain Eddy

It blows mevout of my mibd with such a rough day out with the winds and waves high that still Captain Eddy hooked us with a Sail fish, king mackerel , tuna and a bunch of snappers. Imagine if it would of been a nice day out at sea.. Amazed, thanks Captain Eddy, we had a greatt time and core moments that will be cherished forever.
