Hooknreel Fishing Charters is located in Cocoa beach and offers to show you a memorable time in the beautiful waters of the Indian and Banana Rivers. Please do not ask to go fishing in the ocean.
Capt. Ryan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Tarpon, Snook, and Jack Crevalle, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 25' Shearwater boat that can safely take up to 3 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. Hooknreel Fishing Charters prefers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

A great fishing trip

We are visiting from Wisconsin and were looking for a guided fishing trip for my son and I. Justin was absolutely amazing. He took the time to work with my son and helped him most of the trip. We caught a tarpon and some snook. We will definitely be back when we visit again. We recommend Justin to anyone looking for a great fishing trip. It was super family friendly.

Ryan was fantastic. Was able to book my son and I just two days before. He texted me right away and prepared us for the trip. Even adjusted for weather a day. We met him and headed out early in the morning…earlier than other captains were offering. He knew all the spots to hit; even in late August which is the toughest time to fish. We caught a snapper, a few trout, and a couple tarpon within a few hours. Just had a great time and had a great time hanging out with him. Really solid guy all around. Will definitely book him again next time we visit.

Captain Ryan communicatrd well before and during the trip. Was on time to start and finish. Was well prepares with everything we needed for a great day on the water. Wasn’t vulgar which I really appreciated around my kids. A+ kind of a morning. Highly recommend him.
