Thomas Lasala is a dedicated full-time fisherman with over 20 years of experience who holds a 100-Ton Master's License and a New York State Commercial Fishing License. He will make every effort to make your visit enjoyable and pleasant and help you land the big one. You can expect to have an amazing day on the water!
Capt. Thomas will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 2 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Bass, Seabass, Flounder, Bluefish, Shark, and Scup, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 45' diesel-powered H&H Downeast boat that was custom built in Maine. It offers the ultimate experience in stability and ride comfort. Hammer Time has earned a USCG rating for 34 passengers. It offers top-of-the-line fishing gear, a spacious cabin with a bathroom, bench seating with a large table, and onboard charging ports for your electronics. There's also WiFi at the marina and a state-of-the-art sound system that's compatible with your devices to enhance your listening experience on your special day.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Went out on Hammer Time charter 10/4/25. We had a fabulous trip! The captain was so nice and made sure he gave us the best possible opportunity to catch fish. He took us to a few spots, always kept moving to catch the drifts and tried different fishing options such as trolling. He also had a really good mate. Friendly and on top of his game. Great at fileting the fish too! We ended up catching lots of fish ( and lots is an understatement). But even if we caught nothing, it was still a great trip, boat ride, conversation and overall fun!! THANK YOU GUYS! Keep up the good work!!

Part of my son’s bachelor party weekend was this fishing trip. The Capt and crew had the boat in tip top shape to start and it kept getting better the entire day. We slammed Porgy’s for 2.5 hours on this half day trip and had some of the catch cooked for dinner on the crews recommendation. The crew was very helpful and encouraging for the few that hadn’t fished in the ocean before. Great day. We’ll be back!!!
Capt tommy and Pete were true professionals, our whole group was catching consistently and Pete was ready with the net sometimes knew we had a fish on before we did! Great time great crew great fishing highly recommend and will be booking with them again in the future!
Great boat with a great crew. Cold fish all day long. Would recommend and definitely will be headed back.
