LBISportfishing runs angling trips out of Long Beach and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Spanish Mackerel, Weakfish, Bonito, Dolphin, Little Tunny, and Seabass, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 29’ Hydra Sport boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet, ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.

Half Day Trip – Bottom Fishing
Wonderful Experience!
Captain Jonathan made sure we were catching fish. As soon as an area cooled off, he'd move us to an area that had fish. We caught black sea bass and sea robins. We caught 50 plus fish between 4 of us. Will definitely schedule again with Captain Jonathan, probably for a 6 or 8 hour trip next time.
