Heath Canada is a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran with decades of fishing in Eastern North Carolina. He can customize your fishing charter to include an eco-tour of the Crystal Coast as well as island hopping with your friends and family. At Ease Charters can cater to anyone from the well-seasoned angler to beginners. Families and kids of all ages are welcome.

Capt. Heath will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, fishing for Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. On nearshore ocean charters, you can chase Spanish and King Mackerel, Bluefish, Gray Trout, Cobia, Bonito, False Albacore, Black Seabass, Spadefish, and Amberjack. You can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and jigging.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 24’ Bay Rider boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a wireless trolling motor. The crew will provide coolers and ice on board for your snacks, beverages, and of course, fish. At Ease Charters also has an 800 lbs-capacity ice machine, so let the crew know how many and what size coolers you plan on using to take your catch home and it will be sure to provide the ice to send with you free of charge. The vessel’s fishing license will cover all anglers, so there is no need for the customer to purchase one. The captain believes that all of his customers deserve the highest level of service and he’s committed to providing just that.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
