Book your next trip with GF Charters and find out what you’re missing in Sandys!
Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Snapper, Black Grouper, Marlin, Shortbill Spearfish, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You’ll get to keep a hefty bag of fish, and the rest of the catch will be split with the crew. They will clean and fillet your catch so that you can enjoy it later.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are welcome! Drinks and light snacks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.
You’ll be welcome aboard a 42’ Convertible with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water, plus a toilet on board. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. After you book your trip, a pickup location will be arranged with the captain.
