Join Twisted Arrow Outfitters for another freshwater adventure! This time, Captain Patrick will take you to Three Rivers, where you get to target the biggest and baddest freshwater fish in Texas (perhaps the US) - Alligator Gar! It’s you against a true living dinosaur! No previous fishing experience is necessary, as long as you’re persistent. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join.
You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Grizzly boat that accommodates up to 5 guests. This center console offers a safe and reliable ride, no matter where you go. She’s powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine and a wireless trolling motor.
Come face to face with this prehistoric toothy fish! You’ll target fish upwards of 7 feet and 200 pounds. There are different techniques you can use to catch it and the captain will show you how it’s done. Kids are welcome to join on this trip as well.
If you’re planning to eat your catch, the captain will clean and fillet it for you free of charge. All fishing equipment is included in the price, so you only need to bring your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

Captain Patrick was amazing!! Not only was he knowledgeable about fishing but he didn’t flinch at our very inquisitive 7 year old and all of his questions. Patrick made us feel welcome and like we were old friends from the moment we stepped on to his boat. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely be booking another fishing excursion with Twisted Arrow!! Thank you for making our adventure great, Patrick!!
