We are Sol Fishing. From the river to the offshore waters – we do it all! Join Capt. Evan who grew up fishing these waters. well-known in the area for being the premier fishing guide service for both inshore and offshore fishing. The community of New Smyrna Beach also recognizes his dedication to youth fishing. Sol Fishing is known around the United States for its "Youth Angler Program" that takes children and teenagers aged 5 to 17 out fishing. Sol Fishing was able to offer over 150 fishing trips to youth child anglers this year. This is in addition to their regular charter trips. You will not find a better charter that will give you the best fishing adventure!
You’ll be fishing on a Tidewater 27 Custom Hybrid bay boat with twin 250 Yamaha engins that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat has all the navigation and safety gear required by the USCG. There are other amenities, such as a livewell, multiple coolers, a fish-box, and much more!
All fishing equipment is included in the price, including fishing licenses, bait, tackle, ice, and much more. The only thing you need to be ready for is to have a great time catching fish.
Booking a trip with Sol Fishing will ensure you have an amazing fishing adventure whether you are a serious saltwater angler, a first-timer, or just want to learn some local knowledge of the New Smyrna Beach fishery.

* All bookings must be completed by adults 18 or older. All Fishing trips offered by Sol Fishing must have an adult 18 and older present if minor is on the boat.
* Sol Fishing has a ZERO TOLERANCE Drug policy. We do not allow any drugs on any Sol Fishing Vessel.

Nearshore: Halfday Morning
Evan’s the man!
Evan was super accommodating! Normally Evan has a deckhand but we felt no different with the service with just him. There was never a moment bait was not on a hook and ready to go. And there were 6 of us… Evan is super knowledgeable and knows where to get the best lane snapper which is incredibly delicious. We had a blast with our group and genuinely felt like Evan truly cared about your safety and your having a good time. Oh and make sure to ask if a great white shark has pinged before you decide to pick your fishing site!

Half Day- Morning Inshore
Awesome experience with Captain Evan! 10/10!
We fished with Captain Evan on 12/28/2024. Due to the rough seas, we did an inshore trip on the Intercoastal. We fished for red mangrove snapper, snook, sheepshead. Our whole family - 4 people - were on the boat and we caught more than 30 fish overall! Captain Evan was awesome - great with my boys and made sure that everyone was involved and caught fish. I would recommend Sol Fishing to any family or group, we'll plan to go again when we return to New Smyrna Beach. Bonus - they have great gear as well!

Great Experience
Matt at Sol Fishing is a true professional and great guy. He had a great boat, handled the boat very well around the semi difficult seas, put us on fish, was very prepared with plenty of bait, and made sure my son and I had a great experience all day. I would definitely book Sol Fishing again and would recommend to everyone!

Such a great day of fishing. My family of 4 went with Captain Evan on a morning trip around the intercostal. My kids (7 & 10) both had the best time. Evan has a sick boat that kept us all comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to fish. Hooked up from start to finish, catching a variety of species including lots of snook, some mangrove snapper, sheepshead, jack and whiting. Captain Evan was awesome. We’ll definitely be back for more. 10/10 would recommend!

Captain Matt was fantastic!! Super friendly made us feel welcomed right from the start. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Top notch boat and fishing gear. He even pulled off on a sand bar island so my wife and I could take a quick stroll. I will only be using Matt for any other charters!
