Species like Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Cobia, Tripletail, Gag Grouper, Tarpon, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it’s common to catch these fish on live or cut bait or jigs on light tackle.
Trips with CrackerBoyFishingCharters are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be welcome aboard a 20' Carolina Skiff with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Trevor will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3/4 Day Trip (4 PPL MAX)
Amazing experience!!!
I am a married father of three and as one could imagine it’s not often I can break away to feel a little free. So when I went looking for an outfit I had to make it count. Let me tell you I made the right choice picking Captain Trevor of CrackerBoyFishingCharters. Incredible experience at boating, tackle, locating fish, right bait to use for certain species, casting right where the fish sit, the surrounding environment, tide schedule, and more. We caught and or hooked shark, needle fish( as one could imagine not a huge fight but super cool to look close up), red fish (I hooked a couple of hogs but due to my lack of experience fishing ocean fish lost em, but still as exciting!) pin fish, and hooked a trophy snook!! We saw dolphins circling and feeding on mullet, sting rays, even a 6’ bull shark!! There was all kinds of bird species as well! I haven’t been this excited since I saw my wife for the first time, ;) As for Captain Trevor himself, he’s personable, funny, positive and has love for fishing as we do. It was like fishing with a good buddy!! Listen up people, if you want to have a blast and get every penny worth that you work hard for into an amazing experience you MUST chose Captain Trevor of CrackerBoyFishingCharter!! Captain Trevor thank you for the great fishing and awesome time brother!! This is the start of many trips to come!! God Bless you with safety and many trophy fish to come!! Fishing with Captain Trevor of Cracker Boy Fishing Charters and my nephews First time fishing the gulf
My nephews and I had a great day, First time out on the backwaters of the Gulf for my nephews.. It was a windy day, other boats were coming and going, fishing around us, not catching anything. Captain Trevor put on on fish, the nephews had a blast. We only kept what we wanted and released literally, 10 fold more. They are already talking about coming back down next fall and fishing with Captain Trevor again. Thanks for a great memorable experience. You made their Florida fishing trip a success.

Bday present.
Took my son and sister in law on a charter with Captain Trevor and had a blast. Captain Trevor was down to earth and knew where to find the fish. Great morning on the water!
My wife & I were down from St Augustine for a week in Weeki & we wanted to get out & put some rods in the water. Cptn Trevor took us out on the flats for the morning & hit a few spots. We netted two nice fish & tossed back a few. Trevor obviously knows his way around Homosassa. Highly recommend!

Outstanding captain and trip
The captain was outstanding, made sure all of our accommodations were met and was an absolute jokester with me and the boys. He put us on more fish than we could ask for. We will be back and this is the only charter I could recommend to anyone wanting good laughs and outstanding fishing.
