Fishin Johnson Charters
Make the most of your time in Lakewood and go fishing with Fishin Johnson Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Al knows them forwards and back.
Walleye, Yellow Perch, Steelhead, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area, and you can keep any fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations.
Your trip begins aboard a 20' Ranger with a capacity for 3 passengers, and it comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group.
Capt. Al is happy to have kids aboard, so bring them on and unplug for the day! It's a good idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), rain gear, drinks, snacks, soft-soled shoes, and a cooler to take fish home.
Give yourself something to look forward to, and book a trip with Fishin Johnson Charters!

We spent the morning fishing and catching fish the whole time. Al communicates very thoroughly and makes sure that everything is set for the day. We could not have had a better trip. Thank you for spending Father’s Day with us out fishing.
Lakewood, Ohio, United States
Captain Al Johnson has been fishing Lake Erie for as long as he can remember. As a young kid, fishing became his passion, and he knew this is what he wanted to do every day of his life. In 2008, he became a USCG Licensed Charter Captain. 'I strive for the boat's limit each and every time I go out! I still get excited every single time a fish is on!'
