Next time you’re in Playa del Carmen, make sure to take a trip with Fishbone! Captain Abraham has been fishing in the area his whole life and he knows these waters like the back of his palm. His native staff are greatly qualified in the Riviera Maya’s different fishing varieties, as well as the vast diverse coral reefs to practice and enjoy snorkeling.
The 26’ Four Winns vessel provides great comfort and security. This saltwater fishing boat is powered by a twin 200 HP Yamaha engine that will quickly reach high speeds and take you to your fishing spot. There are also navigational electronics, safety gear, a fighting chair, and trolling equipment. There’s enough space and seating area for 6 guests to join.
Even on a short trip, you can reach spots full of offshore species. Target Snapper, Marlin, Sailfish, Barracuda, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, and more. You don’t need any previous experience in order to be successful here. The crew will show you everything you need to know, and then you just need to be persistent and have a bit of luck.
The crew will take care of your fishing equipment and they’ll also bring snorkeling gear in case you want to jump in. They also cover your fishing license, snack, and drinks. You only need to bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and you’re good to go.

6 Hour Morning tour Quest
Great 6hr trip
Thr Captain and crew were great. always making sure we were comfrotable and had anything that we needed. we caught fiah, trolling and bottom fishing. The crew continually changed bait, depth, location to try and catch more fish.

4 Hour Morning Tour Quest
Worth it!
The captain and crew were well knowledgeable and all around fun to be with! We started the morning trolling for wahoo but fell short of the prize. We finished with a mid day snack, some drinks, and bottom fishing. We walked away with 2 sizable gag groupers but the weather turned for the worse which may have been our reasoning for short luck. We went on the 4hr trip and would recommend the 6hr trip just in case you don't start out hot. Would surely go back to these guys next time I'm down here!

8 Hour Morning Tour Quest
Great day on the water
Took the kids out for some fishing and had a great day out on the water. My husband and I each caught a fish, which was great considering it was a slow day for the other fishing boats as well. We were taken to a reef where we could do some snorkeling and our oldest had the time of her life doing that. Crew was super friendly. Ended the day with a delicious meal of burgers and hotdogs. Would recommend!

6 Hour Morning tour Quest
Rough water, but still caught fish.
We caught 2 barracuda and 1 trigger fish, along with multiple smaller fish. The water was rough so we stayed in the bay. Crew was great!!! We had 2 small issues. 1st--we were supposed to get snacks, sandwiches and drinks. We were only offered drinks. 2nd--the website said that we could pay the balance with credit card. The crew took me around the area (after fishing) on a moped looking for an ATM because they wanted cash. After the 3rd ATM stop because my bank declined, they took me back to the boat where my group was waiting. I was told that their credit card machine doesn't always work. It happened to work. But with all that running around, they had a taxi come to the boat to take us back to the hotel. Overall, good fishing trip. I would go with them again. Next time I will bring food and cash!!!
