Cranberry Creek Lodge is a veteran-owned and family-operated remote hunting and fishing lodge that sits near the town of Kodiak, Alaska. Come join Captain William Brouhard and his crew for the Alaskan adventure of a lifetime!
You'll be fishing on Kodiak Island, known for some of the best Salmon and Halibut bites in the whole state. Apart from these species, you can also chase Black Rockfish, Crab, and more. When it comes to wildlife, the island is home to the famed Kodiak brown bear, Sitka blacktail deer, as well as Roosevelt elk.
Capt. William provides a brand new 2025 33'x11' aluminum Landing Craft with walk around cabin for your trip. Its capacity of up to 6 guests makes it possible to enjoy a private, family-friendly atmosphere that cannot be equaled.
Far away from civilization, this rustic lodge is located near the shoreline and ocean. Being 1,400 square feet big and having 3 bedrooms along with a large loft, it can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. The kitchen and central living room provide plenty of room for relaxing by the lovely fireplace while recounting your adventures of the day. Your hosts will serve you delicious meals to be enjoyed family-style. Thanks to the long summer daylight hours, you'll have plenty of opportunity to stroll on the beach and enjoy the amazing views as you relax by the ocean-side fire pit.
Before you arrive at the lodge, just make sure that everybody has an Alaska fishing/hunting license. The crew will take care of everything else from equipment to food.

Day trip on June 4, 2026 • 2 adultsWe caught our limit of Halibut before noon. We also caught numerous Cod. My wife also caught the ever illusive King Salmon. The captain is very experienced in Kodiak having lived and fished here for years. His crew is a long time employee who was great help. His son was also there helping and learning. Great family. “Charlie” the pup is the best. If you have anyone in your crew that needs a comfort animal at sea Charlie is there for you. We had a great day of fishing and sightseeing. The Captain knows the local waters, the rhythms of ocean and where to find fish.

We caught as many fish as we could carry, and could have caught more if we hadn’t run out of time. I would highly recommend this charter for small parties, and will recommend him to friends. I would book him again if I ever return to Kodiak!

8 Hour Trip on July 17, 2022 • 2 adultsWe started our day at the Anton Larsen boat launch, just totally picturesque. The directions where perfect and the captain and crew were at the dock early and waiting for us when we arrived. We had two first mates Who treated us great and knew how to keep the lines baited and in the water. The boat ride to the fishing grounds was less than 30 minutes and we were catching fish. We had to choose which halibuts to keep as the limits are still tight, but after we caught our halibut we caught a variety of additional species including cod, black bass and salmon. We were treated to amazing views of wildlife including whales, sea lion and otters. The boat was great to fish and very comfortable and the reels and rods were all top notch and in great working order. We fish all over the US and I give this Captain and crew 5 stars for an awesome trip. Thanks captain Bill and crew for giving us your best and providing us an amazing trip to remember!

After high school, Captain Bill joined the Coast Guard and spent the next 25 years being transferred around the country where he hunted and fished along the way. After retirement, Captain Bill is now able to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a remote lodge and living his best life hunting and fishing every day.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
