The captain’s 31’ Cherokee offshore sport fishing boat was made in Michigan and comes equipped with all you’ll need to catch some fish on the great lake. It’s got a bathroom, bed, and a ton of fishing gear. There’s space for 6 anglers on board to fish comfortably as well as an enclosed cabin to protect you from the elements.
You and the crew will have lots of fun chasing Lake and Rainbow Trout as well as Coho and Chinook Salmon. To attract them, you’ll be trolling on light and heavy tackle.
At the end of your fishing adventure, Captain Jeremy will clean and fillet your catch of the day. Rods, reels, and all the tackle are included in the price, but please remember to have your fishing license before you come aboard. You’ll also want to bring your own food and drinks for the trip. Light alcohol such as beer is fine, just make sure it is in cans only.
Also, be prepared for the weather – it’s usually chilly and damp in the morning, and then it warms up as the sun rises. Light rain is also not uncommon.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Captain Jeremy and our trip. The captain’s experience with fishing and professionalism led to a big haul of big fish. We filled our cooler with our catch. We will definitely be coming back to Manistee for another trip using Captain Jeremy’s private charter. Great trip with Jerryriggin'

We enjoyed the trip that Capt. Jerry and his first mate Shane provided for our family. They continually worked hard to make the time pleasant and fun. When my 13-year-old grandson lost his first fish, he received encouragement and advice catching the next fish that was hooked, which was the largest catch of the day. Everyone caught their limit, which made us extremely happy. Upon returning to the dock, they cleaned the fish giving us advise on storing and preparing them to eat. I strongly recommend Capt.
