Based out of Naples, Captain For Hire is your ticket to a memorable time on the water. Capt. David is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it.
Depending on your target species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, popping, or spinning. As part of Capt. David's 4-hour trips, you can target species like Snook, Redfish, Cobia, Spotted Seatrout, and Black Drum, based on the current season and weather conditions.
Your boat for the day will be a 28' Contender that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet, ice box, and a wireless trolling motor. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. The captain will also supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so. Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. Children are welcome aboard so you're good to get the young ones started early.

Our trip started with a slow morning slack tide, which is how you would want it so the rest of the day would be on fire. Started out inshore catching mangrove snapper and moved out a couple of miles off the beach in the afternoon to catch Goliaths and big jacks, with some lane snapper, red grouper, and grunts thrown in. The crew worked well together. They had a plan but were able to change it to suit the conditions. I was impressed the mate, John, with rigging of the equipment, working fishing line around the anchor when the fish would circle the boat, and his overall seamanship. Overall I was happy that my wife and friends were able to go out there and land some fish that aren’t readily accessible to us from the beach! The company has access to a larger, faster craft that can go out further and we look forward to working with the crew in the future on that!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
