Took my boy (13 yrs old) and daughter (11) on a 3/4 day trip with Captain Allen. We spent most of the day fishing but the last couple hours we lobstered. We first trolled on and near the reefs where we had several strikes and landed a large mackerel and a Bonita. Then we moved closer to the reef, anchored up and cast with shrimp and cut bait. We lost count of the fish we caught (yellowtail and rainbow runners were the eaters and we caught enough for a couple large meals). A huge hammerhead shark entertained us for a while near the boat. Then we motored back toward shore and snorkeled for lobster in 3 - 7 feet of water. It was our first time lobstering. We saw a bunch but were only able to net 2, both of which were too small to keep. But it was a great first time experience and we’ll do it again. Capt Allen was fantastic and very patient helping the kids. He expertly filleted the fish and provided an excellent recommendation where to go to have the fish prepared. I go on a couple fishing charters every year while on vacation for the past 15+ years and this was one of the most enjoyable. A lifetime memory with my kids.

We came down to the Keys from PA to celebrate my boyfriend’s 40th birthday. A fishing trip was a must on his bucket list. We have chartered several fishing trips at various locations but this was by far a favorite. Capt. Allen knew where exactly where the fish were biting!! We saw a water spout form, got to experience a rain storm on the ocean (saw a beautiful rainbow as a result), saw sea turtles, and caught dozens of fish, most of which were keepers!!! Capt. Allen was a super nice guy and cleaned all of our fish at the end of the trip. We will definitely be coming back and booking with him again.

Capt. Allen’s charter exceeded all expectations!  His fishing expertise is phenomenal.  Both locations we fished were absolutely perfect and we were getting hits within minutes. Our group was mostly inexperienced and one that never fished before.  We caught different several different types of Snapper filling the ice chest.  He filleted all of our catch in a few minutes upon return.  His boat was very clean and a great ride out to the reef and back.  He also accommodated our schedule with the unfavorable weather on the day we reserved.  Truly a great experience and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone coming to the Keys.

Facing 15-20 winds out of the east, captain Allen tried to get us out on quality snapper spots but conditions just weren’t cooperating with 3-5 @ 4 seconds only 1/4 mile off the coast. But that didn’t end the trip. He swung us over to the bay side on the wind sheltered side of an island, anchored up, and we almost limited out on Grovers. We even had a special guest sea turtle come by to say hi. It was a beautiful day and the captain was an excellent host and guide. We then had our catch cooked to our liking just up the road at Kiki’s on the water. Will definitely be looking to fish with captain Allen again when conditions are improved and we can get into the deep. Thanks for finding somewhere to fish in these conditions skip!

Captain Allen put us on many fish!  My 13-year old son caught a MASSIVE barracuda and several cero mackerels.  We lost count how many fish we caught!  Captain Allen even cleaned and fileted our fish too!  Great experience!  We highly recommend chartering a fishing trip with him!
