Running angling trips out of Rockport, Matlock Guide Service invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Thomas will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle bottom fishing, all to get you on that bite. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish.

You’ll be fishing from a 19’ Panther boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at any single time. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.

Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them prior to the trip.
Bait isn’t included in the trip price, so make sure to check with the captain what your options are before the trip. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
