Sea Mee Charters
Sea Mee Charters runs angling trips out of Norfolk and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Shawn aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, sight casting and jigging. You’re looking at 3 to 10-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Cobia, Spadefish, Flounder, Sea Bass, Mahi Mahi, and Tautog, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your adventure begins on board a 29’ Downeaster boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. It’s up to you is to use it as best you can.
No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Trout Galore
Captain Shawn and first mate Tommy were professional and phenomenal. Our group of 5 guys had a great time catching close to 60 fish over our half day trip. Mostly trolled for ribbon and cast for speckled trout. Can’t recommend Captain Shawn and Sea Mee enough. Would go again if ever out in the Norfolk area.

So many fish!
this was our first time on a charter fishing boat and we had a great time! TJ and captain Shawn did a great job showing us what to do and once we were on the water the bites hardly stopped. We'll definitely go with them again

Fantastic!

Had a great time! Captain did put us on the fish, just the big ones had already left for the season. That’s fishing! Boat is a great set up for Captain/mate +5 with no problems. Best part of trip was Shawn’s professional attitude and wanting to go out and make sure the trip was fun. They were great with kids and I would recommend him and crew any day!
