Our day will start in Winchester Bay at Salmon Harbor. We will have a short safety talk and get you all settled in for the days adventure. Safety is our priority and we have comfortable inflatable PFD's for the day if we cross the bar and head out on the big pond. If you want to bring your own that's great too. Once we get all that sorted out we will go over the rods and gear. High quality Stryker Rods with Okuma Line counter reels in both right and left hand retrieve.

The first spot might have a little bit of a run so plan accordingly with layers and appropriate gear for Oregon's weather. Our comfortable RB Boats 25 foot Falcon was custom built with comfort in mind. The windshield does a great job keeping us dry and the wind off you while making our moves. We have a portable restroom on board for when nature calls or if we are close to a ramp its always and option to run in for a quick break.

We will have a cooler with water bottles available for our guests but you are welcome to bring your choice of beverages. Please we ask that no glass is brought aboard. Lunches and snacks are not typically supplied but your welcome to stock up and come prepared for a day on the water.

Depending on weather and ocean regulations we will decide to either go out and troll in the ocean or stay in the river and hunt for a fall Chinook. If there are any questions please feel free to message us and we will do our best to give you the trip that you want. We love to fish and share our passion with people.

Full day chasing chinook

Started the day heading for the big pond, way to rough of ocean and bar, so fished river with many take downs, until ocean let us out, and ended the day, sorting through many non clipped coho until this chinook gave in.was a great day on the water. Thanks Joe!!! I will be back for more. Greg

From a young age, Captain Joe has had a passion for fishing and the outdoors. Born and raised in Oregon, he had many opportunities to explore this beautiful state. But, he found water and fished every chance he got. As the captain got older, his desire to be on the water grew stronger. As with many anglers, his fishing really started with Trout. Getting his first boat was a game changer for the captain, this expanded his horizons and he got to all those holes never accessible by shore. Years passed and the boats got bigger along with the fish. Guiding has been Captain Joe's long-time passion.     Despite the wind we managed to get into a nice groove of big fish! 3 limits go fast with doubles and triples.

    Had a great group today. All very nice individuals and was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Took us a hour or so to find a group of fish but as soon as we did we made short work of our ten fish! Back to the dock about 12 with the boat limit of nice sized coho and one dandy chinook

    This young lady wanted a salmon dinner for her birthday… little did she know it was gonna be the one she caught! Bites where scattered through the day but we kept our eyes peeled for dolphins and even got to whales spouting next to the boat! We had one fish left for our limit but Mother Nature decided for us to call an end to our day abd get back to the dock. Can wait to fish with this husband wife duo again!

    We had a great group of cliemts on sunday. Was able to spend most of our day out on the ocean catching coho and this 18lb chinook! Spent the last few hours of the day in the river with nothing to the net but did get a couple of solid take downs to get the blood pumping! Fishing is only gonna get better from here as it is still a little early for them to be hitting good in the river. Look forward to getting you on the water! Tight lines and safe boating.

    Fishing is been constant. Had a great group out with me on Saturday 7/16/22. We caught alot of coho and this nice chinook got sent home as his first ocean salmon! Lots of laughs and great weather was a plus!
