Hello and welcome to New Wave Too
Although I'm a native of Nature Coast, my chartering career began in 1984, in Key West, Florida. I'm fully experienced in all forms of charter boat fishing and captaining. I've worked on private boats and offshore sportfishing, inshore light tackle, gaining experience, then with my late father, Captain Jack Kelly, one of the most famous light tackle captains in Key West, on his Charter Boat the Windy Day.
In the mid-1990s I purchased my own boat, New Wave, which I ran for several years until returning to Citrus County with my young family.
Now my family has grown up and the lure of the sea has called me back. I recently sat all the examinations and tests to become fully qualified as a Master Mariner, completely up to date with the current demands and regulations for a modern-day captain. My boat has been fully refurbished and boasts new electronics and safety equipment and I'm ready
to charter again.
I can cater my trips to clients' requirements for any kind of inshore fishing, be that for Tarpon, Sharks, Redfish, Snook, Snappers, or Trout. My dear father left me all his secret 'numbers' so I for sure know where the fish are. My tackle is always ready, with regular line changes, rods, and reels cleaned, checked, and serviced every couple of trips.
If anyone requires a friendly, very experienced captain who really knows their stuff - and can guarantee every single knot - who will give them a smooth, comfortable ride to where the fish are, then help them catch them, whether for dinner, trophy, or just for fun, then I'm who they
are looking for.

Captain Lori was great. Put us in some good fish and explained quite a bit about her GPS she uses and how to look for good spots, because she knows I’m boat shopping. It was a great day.

good time good captain
We had the best time with Misty! She was super knowledgeable and so much fun! She was so patient and really took her time to make sure we had plenty of opportunities to catch fish and boy we did! We will definitely be back very soon! Thanks again!
