We had an awesome time out on the water with Cpt. Zack. Even without boating 3 massive salmon it would have been a great time. Chill vibes - other than reeling in the fish - and Cpt Zack knew the bay well with other potential spots as an option had we not had such great success where we were. Others around us did not seem to be doing as well as us so Cpt Zack’s tricks worked great. I would definitely recommend Shirely catch and will plan future trips with him.

I recently went on a Chinook fishing charter and it was absolutely fantastic! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. We caught two keepers and a jack, which was thrilling. The boat was well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere was fun and exciting. I would highly recommend this guide and would definitely go again. Five stars all the way!

He made sure we were all having a good experience And we got lucky and all got our fish! He was also great with filleting the fish,although I would have liked him to offer me the fish head, as the fish cheeks are some of the most delectable part of the fish. He also gave me some roe and the roe of the Chinook is some of the best caviar!

I chose Shirley Catch Guide service for my Birthday fishing trip and Zach didn’t disappoint. Spent a very relaxing and enjoyable morning fishing. Zach was very informative and taught me a lot about salmon fishing in the Nehalem bay and by the way he also got me hooked me up on a nice chinook salmon. Highly recommend.
