Capt. Miguel will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle bottom fishing and trolling, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish and Catfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ Key largo boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Half Day Trip
Captain Miguel is AMAZING!
My husband and I and our two sons booked with Captain Miguel on 08/03/2025 and had the best time. This was the first time on a boat for our kids and they wanted to catch their biggest fish to date and Captain Miguel made it happen! The communication both before, during and after our trip was excellent. The bites were tough first thing in the morning but he knew exactly where to go and what to do and got us hooked up on some awesome catfish and redfish! He truly went above and beyond in every aspect and made it the most wonderful experience for us all. He also made sure that safety was a top priority and had life jackets ready for our kiddos. He was kind, patient, friendly and very knowledgeable in every aspect. We will 100% be booking with him from now on and will recommend him to everyone looking for a wonderful charter experience. Half Day Trip
Captain Miguel is awesome!
I wanted to take my 2 boys (9 & 7yo) on their first fishing trip. Captain Miguel was ready to hit the lake as soon as we arrived at 8. He was very patient with us as we were not very skilled. He was prepared with everything we needed including lifejackets for the kids. He encouraged my boys to get after the fish which was very much appreciated! The day started off slow due to the weather but captain Miguel was not deterred. He found the fish and we ended up with 6 large reds and 3 small ones!! Very impressive for my kids first time out. Captain Miguel wanted to keep going and it was us getting tired that ended up calling it a day. I can’t say enough how skilled and knowledgeable he is at finding the fish. My youngest son ended up bringing in the catch of the day. It was a redfish that as Ken Fort would say “it’s as big as your leg” and it was!! We had a very fun time with captain Miguel and can’t wait to do it again!!

AWESOME, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FLEXIBLE!!’

It’s all about patience!
It’s all about patience! We booked half day trip and we were able to catch just 1 fish in our first couple of hours, but our caption kept searching and we ended up catching 10 fishes by end of our trip. Big shout out to our captain miguel for guiding us and giving us an amazing experience! Would definitely recommend and return soon!

Great experience!
My husband and I went fishing with Miguel Flores as our captain. We were the only two that booked with him that morning so it was more of an intimate experience. Captain always knew where to go to get the catches and between the two of us we caught 10 Blue catfish. We will definitely book with him again!
