Based out of Matagorda, KT Guide Service is your ticket to an unforgettable time on the beautiful waters of the East and West Matagorda Bay!
Come on aboard with Capt. Klayton, a native to the area and experienced angler. With over 8 years of experience fishing in the Matagorda Bay, he specializes in Wade and Drift fishing that'll get you on only the best fish.
Expect to use techniques like light tackle, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. You'll mainly be filling your ice chest with the likes of Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your adventure begins on board a 23' Majek m2 boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box and a wireless trolling motor, and you're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. You're also more than free to bring your own snacks and beverages on board. You'll even be able to take home your catch to fillet and grill for dinner later!
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Please keep in mind you'll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.

Very enjoyable day!
KT Guide Service was picked at random while scrolling through the different selections. I ended up stumbling upon a very knowledgeable angler by complete accident!! I was expecting it to be very awkward meeting a stranger then getting on said stranger’s boat to travel through the marshlands, however, Klayton was very friendly and easy to get along with. My parents and I ended up having an amazing trip fishing and caught lots of tasty fish. Highly recommend choosing him!!
Four of us had a great day out in the West Bay of Matgorda. Captain Klayton's knowledge of the bay allowed him to find the perfect place to tuck into the grass and be buffeted from the wind. We caught plenty of fish including Drum and Redfish. We had a memorable day due to the Captains experience and his great attitude!

Captain Klayton is the man! If you’re looking for a good Texan to take you out fishin this is your guide. Great communication leading up to the trip and he put us on tons of fish. Trout, redfish, drum and sheephead. Fun Convo and good times. Also had a really great boat. I’d highly recommend taking a trip with Captain Klayton!
