Water conditions made for tough fishing but they were on them and kept working until we started pulling fish in. We had a couple of doubles and got some really nice sized kings, Cohos and even a couple of pinks. Already planning my trip for next year, great time

My youngest didn't participate but everyone who did participate caught 3 fish each. 9 king, 2 rainbow, 1 lake trout. We came home with a whole cooler full almost didn't have room for ice. Captain and first mate were friendly and helpful. We all had a blast.

AM - 5 Hour Trip on September 30, 2022Had an amazing time out on the lake with my parents. It was their very time out on the Lake Michigan and they LOVED IT. Great Captain, great first mate. Both very knowledgeable and helpful guiding them when reeling in fish and answering questions. Was very impressed with cleanliness and comfort of the boat. Will definitely be back. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip!!

6 Hour Trip – July/August (AM) on July 16, 2022We fished with Hi-tech last summer and it was one of the best experiences we have had on a fishing charter. They are very knowledgeable and put in the extra effort to make sure that you have a great outing. I would definitely recommend them. I already made our reservation for this year and can’t wait!

We couldn’t have been happier with our trip with captain Bryan and Mysti. The boat was clean, and very comfortable. We were especially grateful that they had a heated cabin since the lake was pretty cold. We caught a variety of fish and had more than enough fillets to share with our friends and neighbors. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely be back again next year.

I started HI-TECH Charters in 2001 after years of fishing Lake Michigan. 2025 was my 25th year as a guide, and I love it just as much as the first year. Lake Michigan is something you have to experience at least once, and it will likely be the first of many days on the lake. It's addictive and once you've caught your first king salmon you're hooked.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
