Running angling trips out of Murrells Inlet, Top Shelf Fishing and Adventure invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Come on aboard with Capt. John or Capt. Hunter whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing and trolling, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 10-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Wahoo, Dolphin, Tuna, Grouper, Spade Fish, Red Drum, King Mackerel, Cobia, Flounder, Black Drum, Trigger Fish, Sheepshead, and Spanish Mackerel, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

You’ll be fishing from a 26’ Cobia boat with enough room for up to 5 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet and wireless trolling motor. All rods, reels and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome aboard, so you’re free to make it a family adventure.

Book your trip now and hit the water with Top Shelf Fishing and Adventure.

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore 3-20 miles on July 10, 2024

Went out with Captain John and his first mate, Kris today. Weather threw us for a loop early but John was prepared and moved us to a location to dodge the storm. This was the first time my 5 year old had been fishing offshore and both John and Kris went above and beyond with him. You could say he’s now “hooked”! Would highly recommend Top Shelf Fishing and Adventure to anyone looking for a great day of fishing with an amazingly knowledgeable and friendly crew!

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore 3-20 miles on June 23, 2024

Had a good time. Captain had something come up, but was able to get us set up with a backup Captain to run the charter. This was definitely appreciated since our last charter (different company) double booked and canceled on us. We had a good time. Didn't catch any fish, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Would use this charter again. No complaints.

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore 3-20 miles on June 4, 2024

Captain John had us hooked up from the very first spot, grouper, king mackerel, and several other species. When bite slowed we jumped spots and wow, bigger fish and a better bite. Captain John and deck hand Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome day on the water. We will be back again fishing with Top shelf adventures!
