Wet N Wild Outfitters was recently acquired by OPS eXperience. OPS was created to continue the growth of ice fishing as a sport and hobby. Offering trips all across the ice belt. However being based in Fox Lake, Illinois we offer ice fishing guided trips locally as well. Having been professionally outfitting for years, the crew has found the best guides in the region to offer you just the right guide for your trip. From the hardcore trophy hunter to the family in from out of town, your guide is hand-selected by your outfitter to ensure the best possible connection. OPsX Outfitters, know that when you’re booking a fishing trip, you want someone personable that will also do their best to put you on the fish. Education is what this outfitter started the company on when he began his full-time venture into fishing. And this team will continue to pass along that knowledge for years to come.
The crew can accommodate over 50 guests. You’ll be fishing a lake in search of Crappie, Sunfish, and Catfish and more. The techniques you can expect to use to reel them in are light tackle, ice fishing, and trolling. You’re free to keep the fish you catch if you want to and the crew can clean it for you for a fee after the trip is over.
The crew provides on-ice transportation; rods, reels, tip-ups, and lures, where applicable; heated fish house; GPS; honey holes; and seating.
What you should bring: fishing licenses; fish towels; sunglasses; camera; food and drinks; cooler, bag, or bucket for your catch; and warm clothing – boots, hat, and gloves. Alcohol is allowed. The crew can also take pictures of your trip upon request.

With over 17 years of experience in fishing the waters around the far northwest suburbs of Chicago and southeast Wisconsin, Captain Trevor James took it upon himself to pursue a career in the fishing industry. While he does own and operate a kayak and canoe shop Memorial through Labor day, his staff of professional anglers assists in taming over 300 clients per season. Having been featured in an airboat magazine, submitting fishing reports for local news outlets, and being voted to the top 7 canoe and kayak tours in Chicago are just a few of Wet n Wilds' highlights for 2020. In addition, the staff also worked together to come up with COVID-19 remedies and officially opened the Waukesha County shop so the clients that are unable to leave their state can still get on the water for a fun-filled day with friends, family, or work. Ask the crew about its corporate outings!

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
