With Capt. Diego, whether running and gunning various land-based spots in Miami, zig-zagging through the urban inshore systems, or getting lost in the Everglades backcountry, his goal is to keep you fishy! He’ll do his best to ensure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, fly-fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Bass, Shark, and Redfish, depending on the season and weather conditions.
Your fishing adventure starts on an 18’ Sea Ark boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features an ice box. Land-based fishing is also available, no boat necessary.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don’t have to worry about it. You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary drinks, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Peacock Bass fishing !!!!
This fishing trip was amazing ! We all caught multiple fish . Our guide Diego was so knowledgeable, friendly and had the best personality! He made the trip so fun. He showed us different fish and other wildlife. I really wasn’t expecting to have this much action. It was way more fun than deep sea fishing for me and my son. We stayed busy and active the whole trip , and we all wanted for it not to end. Diego is a great guide to request too.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore
Half day with Diego
Before you read any further, just note this is one of the best fishing experiences I have ever had, period. 10/10 recommend I came to Miami on vacation in November , and was looking to do some fishing. I booked with Diego before I left. The night before he called me and very bluntly said the fishing on the boat had not been great and gave me the option of doing some bank fishing instead. I was a bit weary at first, because I can do plenty of bank fishing at home in Texas. But I decided to take his word for it and I agreed. That’s where it all started to go well. I met him at a small market in the Western Suburbs and he picked me up in his small car, poles sticking out the front window. You know someone is a legit when their gear is worth almost as much as their car… For the next 4 hours we proceeded to go from spot to incredible spot, sight fishing from the bank, and pulling out huge peacock bass, large mouth bass, Mayans, and sunfish in quick succession. What made this experience so good is that Diego is extremely passionate about fishing, and loves seeing other people get into it. He confided that sometimes people are a little nervous at first, because he’s so direct, but every time, within about 20 min, people are sold. This is 100% true. I met this guy just that day, and by the end of it, I was laughing and having one of the best fishing experiences of my life. Could not recommend Diego more, for any type of fishing. I will definitely fish with him again.

Miami Peacock/IguanaCastNBlast Trip
Massive Peacock bass haul
Great morning for my two sons and me with Captain Diego! He put us right on a fish within 2 minutes and kept us catching the whole time; lots of Peacocks and Mayan Cichlids. Finished strong with a huge one, too. Will definitely go with Stay Fishy again when we return to south Florida!

Great trip
Captain Diego did an excellent job guiding my son and I. We caught 12 plus peacock bass on the 4 hour tip. He was extremely patient with my son and made the extra effort to ensure we had a great time. I would highly recommend him and his charters, he know the area and put us on fish right away.

Weather was not on our side this trip, but Diego did everything he could to make it the best trip possible and put us on tarpon and peacocks. Knowledgeable, family friendly guide who can tailor trip to your needs. We had a blast and will definitely be back for future trips.
