Hoping to go fishing in San Pedro? Make it happen, with Ali Mermaid Adventures! Your guide for the day is Captain Joeto Cardinez, which allows you to benefit from years of angling experience.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Great Barracuda, Black Grouper, Lobster, Mutton Snapper, and more if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 25’ Wayward skiff with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Joeto has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Ali Mermaid Adventures will make it easy for you to go fishing in San Pedro. So, how about booking that trip?
