Greylight Salmon Fishing
Excited to catch some fish in Brookings? That’s what Greylight Salmon Fishing is here for!
These waters are known for Halibut, Rockfish, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 26’ Pilothouse with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Greylight Salmon Fishing!
