Camila’s sport fishing charters
There’s a fish with your name on it in Puerto Vallarta and Camila’s Tours will help you catch it! With Captain Antonio at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Local species include Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, and more, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Antonio also offers kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Antonio operates a 26’ Nava center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome charter in PV
We booked a last minute fishing trip for the early afternoon. The captain met and picked us up at Muertos Pier. We attempted bottom fishing and trolling without success (probably was too late in the day). Since we weren’t getting any bites we asked the captain to take us to see Los Arcos instead. Without question he took us and provided a lengthy tour of the beaches on the way back to the pier. Will definitely go again when fishing is better, and depart earlier next time! Highly recommend!

fantastic morning!
me and my dad decided to go fishing last minute. the booking process was super easy and the team was very responsive. when we arrived francisco took us out. he worked so hard to find fish for us. we caught a skipjack (10-15 pounds) and a jack crevalle (30-40 ish pounds) ! both were very fun to reel in and francisco gave us great fishing tips. we also saw some whales that morning! absolutely loved our time with him and would definitely come back and recommend!!

The best adventure!
From beginning to end, working with Camila's choosing charter was one of the best events/tours that I've ever done. Antonio was quick to respond to all of my questions, the instructions were clear (just go to the pier end ask for Antonio... the helpers on the pier get the right boat over to you). It was perfect weather for us amc we got to watch the simmering and see several whales which was a nice bonus. Our captain; Francisco, was super nice and experienced and combined with his knowledge about the bay and a bit of luck we caught a huge (25 pound) Amberjack fish! I would highly recommend booking a fishing charter with Camila's Sport Fishing! Even if the fish aren't biting when you go, you'll have a really nice morning on the bay.

Fun time in March
We had a great time with Francisco! We caught our first amberjack a mere few seconds after placing our bait into the ocean. What an experience. We have a few bonitas, and a few amberjacks. Fransisco even prepped some sashimi to enjoy right there on the boat! We brought our own beverages and the weather was perfect. We even had a close view of a hump back whale on the way back to shore. Absolutely had a great time!

8 hour Day Trip ?
Trip of a lifetime!
We did the 8 hour trip, caught a rooster, some needlefish, and a sailfish! My 7 year old went along and was very well taken care of the entire trip. Francisco and Pancho Crew did an amazing job and highly recommend them!
