He has been fishing the Eastern Shore for over 40 years.
Our boat is trailered so we can move with the fish and the seasons. We fish the coastal bays of Chincoteague and inshore Atlantic Ocean for Flounder and the Chesapeake for bottom dwellers like Black Drum, Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Rockfish.
Family and child friendly. I will do everything possible to provide you with the best experience, its your trip my goal is to put smiles on your face and fish in cooler.

What a great fishing trip! captain Joe with Reel Adventures was more than accommodating when our planned morning trip got rained out he didn't hesitate and offered to fish that afternoon. Joe was very knowledgeable with fishing techniques and was quick to rig and help re bait our lines. he did great putting us on the fish!! we wanted to catch flounder and we did do that! we landed over a dozen flounder! i definitely plan to book another trip!
Great fathers day trip 3 generations fishing. Glad the weather and fish came together.
Capt Joe was fantastic! My daughter hooked into a 6ft Hammerhead which was the highlight of the trip! Strong recommend and we will be back soon! Thank you again!

Very knowledgable about fishing for most sport fishes in the Chesapeake Bay area. Fun to be with. The boat is really set up for fishing and comfortable. Lots of tackle and rig options. Goes out of his way to help you have a pleasant experience. Reasonably priced. Nice person.

Captain Joe Truitt took myself and a few coworkers out for a charter in the bay. It would be an understatement to say that we had fun. We had a blast. We caught fish from the moment we started fishing until the moment we ran out of sunlight. It was an unmatched experience and Joe helped me catch my first Red Drum!
