Naples backwater charters runs angling trips out of Naples, widely known as one of Southwest Florida's prime fishing spots, and wants to show you what this fishing haven is all about!

Captain Santi has been a fishing guide in naples for the past 10 years specialize in bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snook, Snapper, Tarpon, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, and Grouper, depending on the season and conditions of the day.

The captains' goal is to provide a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. As a family-owned company, they are also bilingual in English and Spanish and want to make sure every guest feels welcomed and included.

You'll be fishing from a 22’ seacraft boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers. It also includes an ice box and a wireless trolling motor. All the necessary fishing gear is provided with the price of your trip. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don't have to worry about it.

You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip, and there will be a crew member on board to help you with anything you need. All trips will include a fuel surcharge of $100-150 depending on trip length and amount of gas spent. This fuel surcharge will not be factored into your total until the end of your trip. As well as a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay with card. Tips are always appreciated but never required. You'll find free drinks on the boat, and you're welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Great last minute trip

We were in Florida on business and didn’t think we had time to fish . Last minute we had an afternoon become open and booked Santi. Great guy , knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Trying to find a guide who loves to fish still while he does guided fishing trips all day for a living is hard . Santi went above and beyond for us and we found are guy !! Would recommend him

Captain Sebastian put us on fish. We caught sheepshead, snapper and ladyfish in Gordon Pass. Thanks for your help with baiting our hooks and taking all our fish off the hooks!

Fun Experience!!

Half Day Trip – NIGHT FISHING on January 3, 2024 • 4 adults

Captain Santiago is very nice and a right good captain, too! The trip was on time/prompt and ready to-go and the equipment (rods, bait) seemed well suited. We went about 2 to 3 miles off shore for the night (8pm to 12am) trip (beverages were provided and very appreciated). We had hoped to see sharks but did not see any - although we saw a dolphin. Capt. ‘Santi’ is very friendly and was very relatable to our sons -all college age, and you can tell he loves his job. Anytime you can be on the water with your kids, at night or in the day, and regardless of how many fish you catch, it’s a great experience.

Determined to hook a Snook

Half Day Trip (3-7PM) on April 26, 2024 • 3 adults • 1 child

We had great weather and conditions and the boat was a smooth ride. My wife and I brought our 11 and 14 yo boys out and I told our captain Santi they wanted some excitement. We caught lots of Mangrove Snapper but the hunt was on for Snook and Santi was determined to help us land one. We took the boat all the way into the Marco mangroves. By the end of the trip he made it happen and one of my boys finally caught one! Along the way he was very good at teaching my boys better casting techniques and they started to get a lot better at it. Great day on the water!
