Based out of Islamorada, Paradise Fishing with Big Dave is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Paradise Fishing Big Dave is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Dolphin, Snapper, Sailfish, Barracuda, Swordfish, and Tripletail, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 42' Cabo boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet, ac, ice-box, fighting chair, and wireless trolling motor.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. The boat comes with at least 12 life vests and all the needed life precaution amenities. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so. The captain will fillet, ice, and put the fish in bags for your later consumption.
There will be a cooler to store a variety of soft drinks and water. Hard liquor is not permitted on this boat.
Your captain runs trips together with his first mate, who's there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

6 Hour Trip
Great Fishing Boat
Had a great day, we were on the fish all day long. The boat is in excellent shape; all the equipment and tackle were top quality, and the captain and mate were great, extremely helpful and worked hard to make sure that we fished as much as we could (we booked a 6 hour charter). On a day where it looked like most boats were coming back with small numbers; were came to the dock full. I would highly recommend choosing Big Dave for your charter; don't pass them up.

They brought home dinner!
I booked this trip for my husband and two sons age 10 and 14. They had a blast. Caught Mahi-mahi, snapper, and Amberjack fish. The captain and mate both were very personable, knowledgeable, and their experience with catching fish was evident! They were great with kids and showed them the ropes out there. We will definitely book a charter with The Big Dave again!!

Full Day Trip
Full day trip with Captain Dave and first mate Mike.
This was a bucket list of mine and I’m sure glad to have picked captain Dave and first mate Mike for our trip. The boat has everything you need - from all the rods and reels, knowledge about fishing and the places to go, to the home amenities as a bathroom and air conditioning. It was a slow day for most fishing boats but we were very pleased with what we caught. Next trip to the Keys - I will be looking for Dave and Mike for sure!!! You won’t regret booking them for your next fishing trip!

Fishing with Big Dave
The boat and equipment were clean and well maintained. Captain Dave planned out a day fishing for wahoo, black fin tuna, and Yellow tail snapper and delivered! We hooked up a wahoo on the way to the tuna grounds, caught our limit black fin tuna then did the same with Yellowtail snapper. The crew was on it all day.

Had a great day, we were on the fish all day long.
