our custom-rigged 2017 23' pontoon boat with a full-size bathroom, lots of seating options, and a cooler full of ice and bottled water. All bait, tackle, rods, and reels are provided for you with your trip.
Bring your friends and family and join Captain Paul Petersen as he guides you through the waters of Southwest Florida. You have the option of 4, 5, or 6-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Jacks, Pompano, Mackerel, Shark, Sheepshead, and many more.
Your boat for the day will be a 2017 23' custom pontoon fishing machine, that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a private toilet and ample seating, a bimini top, a drink cooler, a stereo, rod holders, drink holders, etc.
The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses and bait for your trip.
The boat will be supplied with ice and ample shade for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions on what to bring for your own.
Children are always welcome aboard, so you're good to get the young ones started!

Great fishing trip for the family!!

We had an amazing time with WeGoFish! We caught plenty of fish, and Captain Paul was outstanding throughout the entire trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and especially great with our little one, making sure everyone had a fun and memorable experience.
The fishing was excellent, the boat was well-equipped, and Captain Paul worked hard to keep us on the fish all day. We caught a lot of fish and learned a few things along the way too. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a great day on the water, I highly recommend WeGoFish and Captain Paul

Great Trip
5 Hour Fishing Trip – Inshore on June 8, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child
Capt Paul was great. Very personable, easy to talk to, and experienced. Communication was great. My brother and I took our 4 kids 3 boys and 1 girl ages 8-16. The bite wasnt the best today but we still had a grest time and caught some fish. The boat was perfect for the back country and flats and fishing gear was great. Capt Paul worked hard keeping the kids lines baited and in the water. Would definitely book again when in the area. Thanks Capt!!
I’ve been on many fishing charters. If you have kids or are new and want to try…. this is the charter for you!!!

4 HR Afternoon Inshore fishing trip on January 10, 2026 • 2 adults
We went on a fishing trip yesterday with Captain Paul, and it was an amazing experience! It was just me, my husband, our son, and daughter-in-law, and Captain Paul was wonderful from start to finish. He knew exactly where the fish were and made sure everyone had a great time.
We also got to see a dolphin, a manatee, and several really cool birds, which made the trip even more special. Captain Paul was always right there to help—baiting hooks, casting, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The trip was so much fun, and we couldn’t have asked for a better captain. Highly recommend!

Great day with captain Paul. Started off foggy and eerie heading out with a group of 6. Started catching fish right away! Captain Paul worked hard baiting alll of our lines and taking off the fish for most of us first timers. While we didnt catch anythnig we could take home and eat, we were catching fish from trout, puffer, lady fish, blue fish snapper, pin fish and the one big one that got away, pompano. Lots of fun and would go out again! Even though we didnt get to cook one up, we had fun seeing dolphins, manetees, sting ray and being on the water!

Great day on the water with Capt. Paul
4 Hour Fishing Trip- Inshore on May 1, 2026 • 2 adults
We had a great weather day and hit up a bunch of spots in search of a redfish. Landed trout, jack creval, snapper, blowfish, sheepshead, and a few catfish. We kept two decent trout and stopped on the way home to have them cooked up for lunch. Paul was a great captain, talking about the local fishery and sights. He was great in helping with the fishing methods and baiting, and casting. Will definitely come back again. Thanks for a fun day on the water.
