Come on aboard with Capt. Austin, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, drift fishing, and spinning based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Salmon and Rainbow Trout, depending on the specific trip and the day’s weather.
Venture through white water rapids, enjoy scenic outdoors and explore the fishing opportunities regardless of your experience level. Beginner anglers and professionals alike will find pleasure during this adventure.
You’ll be fishing from a 17’ Willies boat with enough room for up to 2 anglers at any time. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.
Fishing licenses aren’t included, so get them before the trip. You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. Children are welcome aboard, so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

8 Hour Trip – Chetco River
Great day for viewing fish
Captain Austin was the best part of the trip. He knew where all the fish should have been. He thru everything at the fish they just weren’t bittin! We got to see some good size fish and we chased them around trying to talk them in to biting , they were not biting! It came down to this- it needs to rain more for the fish to start moving upriver. Thanks for Austin but he can’t make it rain. On another note your service could have told me about David Sooner and cancelling my trip.

Full day trip with Captain Austin
Had an awesome day fishing with Captain Austin. He was very knowledgeable of the river and fishing techniques. Very comfortable boat ride. Got a lot out of the trip. My wife got her first steelhead, and he was a GIANT wild buck! A trip to remember!
