These waters are known for Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Kingfish, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22’ Flats boat with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Hunter has rods and reels for you. Live bait is available when needed.
Before coming aboard, it is required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in the group. Unless you are under 16, a license is not required. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

We caught a ton of fish (limited out on Reds then switched to Drum) but even we hadn’t my 11yr old would have still had a blast. We’ve been out on fishing charters before… they all allow kids and most will tolerate kids but this was first time where it felt like our guide was happy to have him, talked to him, explained / taught him a bunch of stuff, and made it really enjoyable. Next time we’re in town we wont look anywhere else. Family run operation and just good people all around. Thanks Hunter.

It was me, my son, and grandson on the trip. Hunter made sure that my grandson got the best attention and was encouraging to him all the time! My grandson's smile said it all after the first keeper Red he caught! The fish we caught were filleted and cooked later that evening and they were awesome! I would recommend Hunter as a guide to anyone, especially if you have kids. He was great! Overall we caught eleven fish, mostly Reds!

I was a little nervous booking a surprise trip for my husband but Captain Hunter kept in contact with me to make sure everything went smooth and did everything in his power to make sure they had a great trip. The boys can’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed fishing with captain hunter, my brother even booked two more trips already. Do not hesitate to book with this charter, you will not regret it!
